This group provides an opportunity for members to expand their knowledge and increase their enjoyment of classical music and will be suitable for beginners and those who already listen to classical music but would like to know more about it.

Each meeting will be anchored in repertoire chosen for the 2024/25 Nottingham Classics series of orchestral concerts at the Royal Concert Hall but will also explore a wide range of related music.

William Ruff (william.u3a@gmail.com) is the group leader. For 31 years he has been classical music reviewer of the Nottingham Post and has written over 2000 reviews of concerts and operas. He also writes for the ReviewsGate website (reviewsgate.co.uk).
